About the training:
As a young Diplomat could you negotiate peace and prevent war in your country? If called upon to advise your head of state, would you recommend spending money to develop advanced military technology or engaging in diplomatic negotiations for arms control? And, if your head of state entrusts you with managing their election campaign, how would you negotiate all the contracts?
 
The ‘Diplomatic Negotiations’ training will prepare you to make strategic decisions, build relationships, and address conflicts with trust and value for your country, organization, or family.
 
It lays the groundwork for future diplomats from Luxembourg or any other nation. This training will be an excellent opportunity for young diplomats and business person to enhance their negotiation skills and contribute to global cooperation while navigating and embracing conflicts.

About the trainer:
Antonio is a Senior Officer and negotiator at the NATO Support and Procurement Agency. He also serves as a Professor of Negotiation at the University of Luxembourg, HEC Liège-Luxembourg, and is a guest lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Throughout his career, Antonio has held prominent roles within the Italian Ministry of Defence, including positions as the Chief Procurement Officer. Additionally, he was appointed as a negotiator by the United Nations to facilitate Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) across contributing countries.

Antonio is a Harvard-trained Negotiator, holding a PhD in Law from the University of Luxembourg with a focus on dispute avoidance mechanisms. Furthermore, he earned an MSc in Strategic Economics and Management from the University of Turin, and he graduated first with honors from the Italian Military Academy.
